The 6th BRICS Future Network Innovation Forum will be held in Shenzhen.

Under the guidance of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and co-sponsored by the Shenzhen Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, the China Institute of Information and Communication Technology and the BRICS Future Network Research Institute (Shenzhen, ·, China), The 6th BRICS Future Network Innovation Forum, co-organized by the International Telecommunication Union's Digital Transformation Regional Acceleration Center and the Global Fixed Network Innovation Alliance, will be held in Shenzhen from April 28 to 29, 2025. The International Telecommunication Union Regional Initiative Accelerator Workshop will be held in conjunction with the Forum. It will attract government officials and industry representatives from 24 countries and regions including China, Brazil, Russia, India, Iran, Ethiopia, Indonesia and Malaysia.

The BRICS Forum on Future Network Innovation has been successfully held five times since 2019. Under the theme of "Common Network Innovation and Development and Sharing the Digital Connected Era", the Forum will conduct in-depth exchanges and mutual learning in four areas: universal and meaningful connectivity, AI for good and inclusiveness, digital ecosystem cooperation, and space sustainability and satellite communications. At the same time, it will release a number of key industry cooperation projects to make positive contributions to deepening cooperation in the ICT field between BRICS countries.

The International Telecommunication Union Regional Initiative Accelerator Seminar will invite representatives from Chinese government departments, government officials from developing countries of the ITU Asia-Pacific region, experts and scholars, and representatives of enterprises and research institutions to focus on the topic of artificial intelligence. Three days of project co-creation and discussion on topics such as creating a supportive policy and regulatory environment for accelerating digital transformation.
