NIDA Campus Network Working Group 2025H1 Midyear Meeting Successfully Held

China Construction Group Northeast Design and Research Institute, China Information and Communication Research Institute, China Survey and Design Association Intelligence Branch, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., ZTE Co., Ltd., Suzhou Shengke Communication Co., Ltd., China Communications Post and Telecommunications Consulting and Design Institute Co., Ltd., Xiangya Hospital, Central South University, Singapore National University (National University of Singapore ), Beijing Union Medical College and other 19 institutions attended the meeting. On the one-year anniversary of the founding of NIDA, delegates reviewed the achievements of the Alliance over the past year, discussed new Internet network construction standards and industry applications, and considered important topics such as the establishment of a technical white paper.
At the beginning of the meeting, Guo Xiaoyan, Chairman of the Campus Network Workgroup, delivered a speech: "I would like to acknowledge and thank the members of the campus network work team for their hard work, acknowledge the achievements of the campus network work team in the past year, and encourage the members of the campus network work team to meet the challenges of intelligent evolution of campus networks." In terms of international influence, Guo Xiaoyan pointed out that "the alliance needs to break through domestic limitations and attract global partners. It can continue to expand its international influence through specific activities. The campus network work team will certainly achieve better results."
One of the key agendas of this meeting: Work summary of the alliance and campus network work team in 2025 H1 and report on the alliance planning. Miao Fu, Vice Chairman of the Campus Network Working Group, reviewed the industry background, organizational positioning, mission, vision, and organizational structure of NIDA, and introduced the achievements of the Alliance in terms of network construction standards, membership development, and internationalization in the first half of 2025. Then, the business plan of the alliance in terms of industry domains, organizational structure, and marketing activities was reported.
Five new members, including chip R&D, healthcare, and education, joined the working group meeting. Their participation further enriched the alliance industry ecosystem and enhanced the alliance industry influence.
Another important agenda and core outcome of the meeting is: The meeting reviewed and approved the project initiation plan of the High-Quality 10GE AI Campus Technical White Paper. The white paper will focus on the trend, architecture, and quantitative standards of AI-enabled campus networks. The Chinese and English versions will be released later. The white paper will include cases in typical scenarios such as health care and education, and all members of the working group will be invited to participate in the preparation.
Finally, Guo Xiaoyan, Chairman of NIDA's Campus Network Working Group, said in his concluding remarks that the : " Campus Networking Working Group had made important breakthroughs in standard development and global cooperation in the past year. In the future, we will focus on key fields such as healthcare and finance, and drive the implementation of standards through innovative technologies such as AI.
