The first meeting and kick-off meeting of the NIDA Network Intelligence Working Group (WG02) was successfully held.
On October 15, 2024, the Network Intelligence Working Group (WG02) held a kick-off meeting in the form of an online Tencent meeting. 24 members, including Ma Junfeng and Han Sai, attended the meeting. This kick-off meeting is a milestone and lays a solid foundation for the establishment of the network intelligence working group.
Ma Junfeng, Chairman of the Working Group, delivered a speech: Ecosystem partners in all phases of production, university, and research work will be carried out in this working group. We all share the following objectives: Discuss the key technologies involved in the evolution to L4 high-level self-intelligence, including the construction of the industry ecosystem and the output of the Chinese standard solution to overseas countries. We hope that we can achieve the industry goals through joint efforts.
Working Group Vice-Chair Hansai mentioned: Currently, we mainly focus on the research on the large-scale communication network model. We hope to work with members of the working group to develop L4 research on standards and applications in the future.
Wu Bingqing (on behalf of Wang Chunsheng), Vice-Chair of the Working Group, mentioned: Jiangsu Future Network Innovation Research Institute has been building an experimental network covering the whole country, which has entered the acceptance phase. It hopes to provide a good experimental basis for the work team's follow-up work.
Working Group Vice-Chair Liu Chun mentioned: With the joint efforts of CCSA TC610, ICT Institute, and many industry partners, Huawei has actively promoted the development of the self-intelligent network industry. As Vice-Chair of the Working Group, I will continue to actively support and cooperate with relevant industry activities, and warmly welcome the active participation and support of all online colleagues.
The meeting reviewed the project initiation resolution on the Technical Requirements for Intelligent O&M Capability of Enterprise Campus Networks. In view of this project, Chairman Ma Junfeng put forward two important points:
1. The standard project initiation proposal and standard draft need to be modified and improved as required, and the communication and coordination with the NIDA Secretariat must be ensured.
2. Detailed templates and processes need to be developed and publicized to gain the endorsement and support of the WG chairs.
These recommendations are intended to further standardize the project management process and ensure that the project can proceed smoothly and achieve the desired objectives.
The Technical Requirements for Intelligent O&M Capability of Enterprise Campus Networks has been updated based on the latest project initiation application template and passed the online voting on October 18, meeting the 70% approval rate required for project initiation. Next, the WG02 WG selects a date to submit the project to the Technical Committee (TC) for formal initiation decision. Attached voting result : https://my.alliancehub.net/a/nida/wg/WG02/vote/136
