NIDA Presents at 8th Future Network Development Conference
From August 21 to 23, 2024, the 8th Future Network Development Conference was successfully held in Nanjing. With the theme of "Network Global Winning the Future", the conference focuses on cutting-edge technologies and industry cooperation in the network communications field, covering hot topics such as future networks, computing networks, and industrial Internet. Through the opening ceremony, the main forum, 15 sub-forums, innovation achievements release, science and technology innovation competition and other colorful activities, the industry builds a high-level communication platform.
The Global Fixed Network Innovation Alliance (NIDA), an industry organization in the field of global network innovation, was invited to co-host the CENI Innovation Forum 2024 on August 23. This forum, hosted by Jiangsu Future Network Innovation Research Institute and Jiangsu Communication Society, aims to conduct in-depth discussions on industry-leading technologies and application prospects, and explore opportunities for ecological cooperation between CENI and NIDA.
The CENI Innovation Forum 2024 kicked off with a wonderful speech by Liu Yunjie and Zhang Hongke, academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. Jiangsu Future Network Innovation Institute and the Global Fixed Network Innovation Alliance signed a landmark CENI-NIDA strategic cooperation agreement, marking the further deepening of ecological cooperation between the two organizations.

In his keynote speech, Deng Yiou, Secretary-General of NIDA, emphasized that the network will become a new foundation for enabling new opportunities for industrial upgrading brought by new productive forces. NIDA is committed to researching scenarios and architecture innovation of next-generation Internet infrastructure, gathering global industry consensus, and building an international industry, university, research, and application ecosystem to promote Internet infrastructure innovation. CENI is the only network science device in China. It has built advanced network infrastructure covering major cities in China. It is an ideal test environment for network technology innovation. The strategic cooperation between NIDA and CENI can form a positive cycle of "innovation-experiment-innovation", which is conducive to the implementation of network technology research and innovation.
