Deng Yiou, Secretary-General of NIDA, Attended the 2024 China Information and Communication Conference, Calling for Converging Industry Forces to Promote Computing and Network Innovation

Chengdu, December 1, 2024 - At the "2024 China Information and Communication Conference - Intelligent Computing Network Innovation Technology Symposium" held at the Tivoli Hotel, Chengdu, China. Deng Yiou, Secretary-General of the Global Fixed Network Innovation Alliance (NIDA), delivered a keynote speech entitled "Consolidating Industry Power and Promoting Network Computing Innovation."

The conference brought together a number of experts and leaders from academia, industry, and government agencies, including academician Yin Hao and academician Zhang Hongke, to share their respective research fields in depth. Discuss the development trends and technological innovations in the computing power network field.

In his speech to the General Assembly, Secretary-General Deng Yiou mentioned: As the pace of intelligentization and digital transformation accelerates, the Internet is gradually evolving to a brand new stage-new Internet. This transformation not only requires continuous innovation and breakthroughs in technology, but also requires close cooperation between all parties inside and outside the industry to promote the healthy development of the entire ecosystem.

Secretary-General Deng Yi-ou detailed NIDA's achievements in promoting the integration of computing networks and its future plans. As one of the important organizations dedicated to defining the evolution path and network construction standards of the global Internet infrastructure, NIDA has been actively playing the role of bridge, enhancing communication among alliance members, facilitating multi-party collaboration, and guiding industry upgrade. A special call was also made for strengthening international cooperation, especially among international industrial organizations.
