NIDA is invited to attend the 2025 Saishang Academic Forum, and marketing director Song Jianmin delivers keynote speech

On January 21, 2025, Song Jianmin, Director of Industry Marketing of NIDA, the Global Fixed Network Innovation Alliance, was invited to attend the 2025 Forum on the Development of Intelligent Computing Converged Innovation Applications held in Yinchuan, China, and presented the title "Consolidating Industry Strength." Keynote speech on Advancing Computing Network Innovation.

The conference was co-sponsored by Ningxia Science and Technology Association and Ningxia Communications Administration Bureau, and hosted by Ningxia Communications Society and China Communications Society Computing Network Committee. It brought together many experts and leaders from academia, carriers, industry, and government agencies. Several heavyweight guests, including Qian Depei, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Xu Lei, Academician of the European Academy of Sciences, shared their respective research fields and discussed the development trend and technological evolution of computing networks.

In his speech to the General Assembly, Minister Song Jianmin mentioned: With the advent of the intelligent trend, the Internet is gradually evolving to a new stage - the new quality Internet. As one of the key fields of the new quality Internet, computing networks will face various challenges in the future. This requires us to conduct research on innovative technical architectures at the technical level. We need close cooperation from all sides inside and outside the industry to promote the healthy development of the whole industry.

Minister Song Jianmin introduced in detail the phased achievements of the NIDA Data Center Network Working Group on network construction standards, as well as the future research and planning. As one of the important organizations dedicated to defining the global Internet infrastructure evolution path and network construction standards, NIDA has been actively playing the role of a bridge, advocating systematic cooperation among standards organizations, enhancing communication among alliance members, facilitating multi-party collaboration, and promoting industry upgrade.
